AQUARIUS

SOS Méditerranée is a humanitarian organisation that, in collaboration with Doctors without Borders, has already been able to save the lives of thousands of castaways in the Mediterranean. In July 2018, i travelled aboard the Aquarius rescue vessel, to document the daily lives of the maritime emergency responders.

Was the beginning of a project that took me on the trail of people rescued off the coast of Libya that summer, to find out what happened to some of them a year after they landed in Malta.
